Due to the size of the internal function, a lot of responsibility is placed on the junior internal audit staff to perform audits from the planning to reporting stage.

Exposure to all aspects of business

I am 24 years old. I am ambitious, driven and sociable. During my years of articles and after, I have been equipped with invaluable skills that have enhanced my knowledge of business and strategy. I believe, if given the opportunity, I would prove to be an invaluable asset to your team. I have been exposed to all aspects of accounting, auditing, taxation, consulting and advisory.

Good experience

great people to work with, I have learnt many different skills especially because of the firm doing auditing and accounting work. However there is no room for growth as an individual and it is challenging especially because the salary is so discouraging.

Excellent learning experience

You are exposed to various work projects and given opportunities to learn everything from data capturing to drafting of afs and conducting a full audit from planning to finalization. Management is a bit poor and the financial rewards are minimal.. There is no bonus and annual increases are dismal. Projects are deadline driven and can sometimes require long hours but for the most part is a good work /life balance.

Satisfactory work environment

Experience and development is excellent however staff are under valued despite the great effort they provide to achieve deliverables. Hard work is expected and often goes unnoticed. The work environment is satisfactory. The Company's KZN division has not formal business structure.

Pros: Excellent development and experience across the finance sector
Cons: No scope for growth
