Excellent learning opportunity and great room for growth and improvement.
It's a good environment to work in, with a few colleagues that are easy to work with and manage. Work depends on the availability of projects to work on, there are times where one becomes very busy and work days become stressful and sometimes I spend the whole day without any productive task to perform. I have learnt a lot in terms of internal audit as I was exposed to external audit before. I do enjoy travelling to clients and come back home to my kids in the afternoon. I have also enjoyed staff training and/or meetings where I get to share my experiences and journey with the company. What is most challenging at times is when a client denies an audit finding and claiming otherwise. Some of the clients and in fact most of them strive not to get audit findings within their departments and if it happens that one finds one, it becomes a mission discussing it as if we are investigating the client. Other than that, work is mostly enjoyable, and teaches me a lot and new ways of doing things every day.
Pros: Plenty room for personal growth and improvement.
Cons: Long working hours at times

Good relationship with colleagues, and a good environment to be in that teaches a lot. A typical work day becomes stressful at times but sometimes it is very relaxing and work becomes scarce. I have learnt to do audits and prepare working papers, and engagement letters.
Pros: Plenty room for personal growth and improvement.
Cons: Long working hours at times
