Excellent Industrial Automation Experience

I am well trained and experienced in electrical panel construction, assembly, wiring, fault finding and have worked with alot of Siemens components in particular . I have been exposed to Siemens plc software such as Simatic Manager and Tia Portal,WinCC flex, WinCC basic, Scada software such as in touch wonderware . I have wired and have assisted in commissioning of various automation projects .

Pros: Great Hands on Experience
Cons: Lack of Mentoring

Created a very good and comfortable learning environment

-Very friendly and family oriented company -Co-workers were a pleasure to work with -Willingness to assist and give training was a bonus -Very easy work environment with minimum stress -Most challenging aspect of the job is the inability for growth within the company.

I learnt more about people than i did about work.

In fear that my review summary may be misinterpreted, ill start by emphasizing how much I have learnt at Abacus. Work ethics must be at the top of the list, punctuality, self management, problem solving skills, working in a teams, leadership roles etc. Then it's your hands on skills such as panel building, wiring, instrument/device installations, running cable, Siemens hmi/drive repair, basic plc/drive programming skills. I'd say thee most challenging aspect of the job was the relationship management had with the non management employees. No sense of respect nor trust on them, to an extent that one would feel like they are getting that particular treatment because of who they are rather than based on the work at hand.

Pros: A lot to learn.
Cons: Unhealthy working environment.
