Cons: Responsibilities: Siding Supervisor (Mining) To manage the day-to-day stockyard activities by ensuring that incoming coal is tipped safely, correctly and onto specific demarcated stockpiles as well as supervising the loading trucks safely.        Managing stockyard, weighbridge and logistics in the loading area. Ensuring sufficient planning is in place to achieve targets efficiently and consistently. Conducting daily coal inspections, ensuring procedures are adhered to an area of responsibility is well maintained. Ensuring trucks are directed to the correct stockpile product to be loaded. Maintaining production statistics and manage documentations of stockpile reconciliations. Hourly report to management, daily update and handover. Adhering to Health Safety and Environmental policies and procedures.

I am a very good time keeper and enjoy work satisfaction

i have a very good working relationship with my co-workers, A typical day at work is hard working and always challenging for me, i have learnt not to give up until all avenues has been exploited i enjoy seen a job well done as it reflects back on me by the type of person i am. The most challenging aspect of my job is the maintenance and keeping my plant up and running in order to keep production going strongly.

Cons: long working hours, meaning i am only off one weekend a month
