Adams booksellers is an awesome company to work for. there can never be a better boss than Mr Peter Adams. I love coming to work every day. I cannot ever think of a day I wanted to miss work aside from being really sock (even that too I come to work). The staff get on very well, no bickering and back biting. If you want to say somebody something, you say it- then and there... but it is always said in love and in the interest of the next person. Work load is easy, not matter how much we can have, I have good time management and the accounting package I work in is very easy. My typical day is welcomed by smiles. Music plays from our company whilst we are working, somebody says something stupid and we all burst out in laughter. This is where the grass is greener.

Excellent

I am the sales assistant to my company we are selling the books for schools and the University level , it is always my interest to give a good customer service to our customers , we have a good relationship with my colleagues always working together as team and combining the ideas of what we can do to keep the interest of our customers. I have learned that working as a team that alone improved our sales in the company we are meeting our targets. I enjoy to get the feedback from our customers about our service, as we are having this challenge of the competition from other bookstores , we have to keep our service excellent.

Cons: We are working from 8.00 to 4.30pm

Job rotation, friendly staff, learnt a lot in different department, working hours were nice.

at adamsbooks i got variety of experience in different departments as i did not only focus on sales i also worked at administration and dispach, to avoid boredom they rotate employees to different departments. i had good relationship with all the staff in the company cause i knew them all by my first week of employment, i enjoyed dealing with customers directly.

Pros: great oppurtunity for promotion
Cons: working on weekends
