Good life lessons, learning curve

full HR function. very little opportunity for growth too much hierarchy no respect for different levels of expertise no bonus for the 3rd year in a row large staff turnover very knowledgeable staff enjoy the most: different culture in the organization challenging: very little respect for the junior staff

Pros: Good HR experience gained as i am currently overseeing the full HR function in the Western Cape

Excellent learning curve

Working hours are 8 hours a day and 40 hours a week. Worked with all staff members I enjoyed working flexible hours and working with all staff members. Working under pressure is a strong attribute for me. Working long hours for completed deadlines.

Gained much experience, especially with the payrolls of other African countries

A typical work day is 8 hours, although you may be required to put in extra time should there be deadlines to be met. All in all the working environment is pleasant and the people I worked with very supportive. I gained a lot of experience, having to manage the payroll through numerous tranitions.
