Good Learning curve in terms of communication skills

working at Aegis Global it is fun and yet challenging, this is caused by the high rate of customer demands and their expectation. we work as a team and our relationship it is solid enough to help one another when it comes to our duties and we do not take work issues too personal.our manager and our team leader they are so much helpful. we understand one another's point of view and we treat each other equal. i have learnt a whole lot of things from culture diversity and religions. improving my skills and becoming a top agent, i enjoy the events that we organise and recognition of every individual's hard work The most challenging aspect it is the demands of our client for the money which was wrong debited and for those who are travelling.

Telephone etiquette, Well outspoken, determined and driven.

My typical day at work is answer incoming calls from the customers in the UK, ringing in to get assistance with their holidays they have booked with us. My relationship with co-workers is very good I built a strong bond with them as a team as I work in a team environment. I have learnt to adapt very quickly with the kind of environment that we work in and more especially learning to deal with customers from overseas which is a bit challenging. I enjoy what I do because communication is one of my strength in terms of the line of work I do and have experience with I work very well and my quality analysis scores are always on top. Overcoming dealing with different background of people who are often irate.

Excellent listening skills

It's stressful but fun. Having a sense of humor helps a lot as one gets to ease the situation and put the customers in a more comfortable state. Another feature that has assisted me so far is having a ear and being patient.

Pros: Get to have a conversation with the customers while selling a product to them

Great expoture to international clients

The customer has given me an opportunity to grow and work in different department. This has broadened my understanding of the call centre and outsourcing industry. I have had an opportunity to work in a different province and interact with different departments in different geographical locations. I have acquired different skills through the years and have grown from both personally and career wise. I have been given opportunities to interact with all department recruitment, training, MIS, WFT and executive teams. Working in a UK sales campaign means we deal with different objections, mainly the difference in culture and accent.

Good experience

Aegis gives you very good experience and teaches you alot of thing s but they don't pay well. You work long hours for very little money. A typical day is quite hectic but I work in a special department so my days are always calm. I have very good relationships with my co workers

. I currently operate as a customer service agent for a campaign called TUI Holidays. I assist with UK based customer with their holidays. I ensure that further information is presented to the customer regarding their destinations; I assist as well in arranging personal requests for their Flights, Hotel or Cruises. I previously operated as a Tsogo Sun Central Reservationist. I assisted customers with their rewards programs and arranging customers to check into Tsogo Sun based hotels. I have sales experiences which I acquired from Oneplan Health Insurance; this is where I sold short-term Health insurances which included pet insurance as well. I have a pastel and booking certificate, which enables me to perform accounting practices and reconciling accounts. I am looking forward in joining the team and learning more about the environment.

I have learned a lot about contact centre not a call centre only. I have learned different cultures and behaviours from my team members. And what is like to work as a team and manage time as well be professional as an employee.

im 28 years old certified in CCNA Security and MCSE Server infrastructure , i am currently employed by aegis ( outsourced for Telkom) as a technical support consultant , i am also preparing my self on getting more certifications on the IT FIELD , i also have the following skills Administering Managing and configuring Active Directory, DNS DHCP, Hyper-V and Group Policies Good leadership skills Ability to analyze, problem solving and research Computer literacy: MS Package competent Strong work ethic and ability to function well in a team Excellent time management Good interpersonal skills Work well under pressure and meet deadlines Self-Motivation, drive and energy

I’ve learnt to deal with different people and situations and how to handle it.

I can handle any situation and work under pressure and can also be a team player. I’ve worked for 3 years in customer service and it helped me to build confidence and taught me to the importance of customers loyalty and understand their needs. I can work on my own and also work well as team. I enjoy delivering the best service, make sure I understand the customers need and the customer is satisfied. It can be very challenging to deal with the irate customer and provided with the incorrect information.

Pros: It is the greatest opportunity to grow for every one in a business and show great management skills.
Cons: I want 8 hours job per day and straight shift.
