Working at Aero City Tyres

At Aero City Tyres, I have bettered myself as an employee by learning many new skills and procedures. In the time that I have been here, I feel I have grown a lot as an individual and with the team. I do however feel that the senior management could make a better effort with regards to treating employees with respect, and better working relationships. Some employees do experience a hostie working environment. The staff all work from Mon - Fri, 08:0 -7:00 and Sat 08:00 - 13:00. There are set months in which you are allowed to take leave. No leave is permitted in peak seasons, not even for occasions such as weddings. The thing I enjoyed the most about working here was being part of a team and earning a lot about different industries, trade and customer's needs.

Pros: Small strong team
Cons: I feel very overworked, once you learn or offer to help with something, it becomes your permanent responsibility. I am always bothered with work-related issues when I am on leave (annual or sick)

Excellent Learning Opportunity to have had.

Even though my contract was part time, I am still in contact with the owner. I truly enjoyed working there. It was a fun and friendly working environment. We all knew what our duties were and we all tried to do the best we can to ensure customer satisfaction.

Pros: Great environment and great people to learn from
Cons: Working on weekends and public holidays
