Review of working at affinity

It was great learning environment, consulting over the phone was ok, I only had a problem with giving medication over the phone due to side effects of every medication. The co workers were excellent always there if you stuck. The mostchallenging thing I think is that the company care more about money than the patients and that did not stand well with me.

Growth within the company

It was a sales environment and it started as what I like and challenging as it should be however met a new team leader who was just interested in making numbers regardless of quality and treating customer service fairly that's when I decided that I would rather leave than robbing client,because she was seen as a hard worker by the company and I would not complain about her

Expierence and Diverse enviroment

Was initially a financial manager of a logistics company. Savino Del bene. Within a year the directors of the company promoted me to the senior financial executive of Meralo financial Services. In 2016 New shareholders took of the financial services part of the group and the new shareholders changed the name to Affinity. I have had the opportunity to gain exposure to Trade Finance Activities and Reserve Bank processes. I have also had the opportunity to be part of a risk committee headed by the head of Risk Monqiue Viljoen whom I have learnt a great deal from. The most challenging part of the job was the new shareholders and managing expectations of the trade finance capabilities.

No growth and poor management skills

I have been there for two months and instead growth and motivation we only get threats. Poor management skills as team leaders do not know how to motivate us in stead they talk down on us and put us under pressure. Working hours are straining as they seem to be based on management discretion. 10 hours a day from 8am to 6pm. Recycled leads with an extreme high target to archive.

Its was a good place to grow now that I've grown I'm looking for something permanent

It's was a good place to work in where I was able to do anything concerning work free because everyone was willing to assist if I ask for assistant it was a good place for everyone including whille chair people senior stuff are very friendly and accomodataing to everyone

Pros: Long hours I was not getting paid for
Cons: Work extra hours without payment
