Good learning curve

I work at a demanding environment with a lot of pressure, needs one to pay close attention to detail and respect individuals confidence as we are dealing with candidate cvs id s and bank details etc... It is a fun and friendly environment, i work with different consultants (assisting them) therefore i have a great relationship with all of them, they trust me with helping them reach their set goals and targets. I have learnt a lot in this company, i came in fresh from school and they groomed me, because i was willing to learn and i was quick at grasping information it made it easier for them. I've survived retrenchment and i guess that says a lot about how they wanted to keep me. I enjoy learning new stages and discovering new challenges and how to deal with them. The most challenging part of the job is that we must follow strict labour law practices and abide to them as we are dealing with employment.

Excellent learning curve with multiple growth opportunity.

Working at the city of cape Town via affirmative Portfolios was amazing! My colleagues became my family and we would ensure that each and every staff member feels content in the work place. If any of us have any trouble with work, we are more than happy to jump in and assist should we be able. Our day would never start without a cup of coffee! There might have been language barriers every here and there, but we would always ensure that when communicating took place, we would find the point and ensure that the problem gets resolved.

Excellent learning experience

It was an amazing learning experience. The staff were friendly and professional. The company has an amazing culture with dedicated employees. This company is proof that good leadership improves staff morale.

Is to gain an experience.

Within the company I have learned my self to solve problems. The job has some challenges hense that now I can be able to face any challenge. My time management skills are excellent. Every day is a hectic day, there is a pressure but with my calmness and how I manage my time helps me a lot.

Cons: There is no team work, I have learned to face my own challenges.

Learning curve

It is a very busy company. Dealing with walkins. People are coming to drop their cv's. I capture those cv's on intelligence for Consultants to view when they look for people. Handling incoming calls, taking the messages and distribute to relavant people. Capturing all the fingerprints of the candidates, scanning the documents and email straight to the MIE Company. Issuing the receipt for payments of the fingerprints.etc

Pros: Great opportunity to meet new people everyday. And to deal with candidates and clients.
Cons: The job itself is challenging.
