Computer skills,Management skills,health care skills and first aid skills customer service skills.

I enjoy working with people and help customers with a smile.always put a customers first.working with different customers made me realize on how to handle pressure at work and know how to work with different people. Difficult customers that was a challenge but managed to solve it by first apologized to the customer for the misunderstood,help the customer and thank the customer for buying in the store. Work together with other workers as a team i leant to always respect people i work with, as working together makes daily task to be done easily and correctly in time always.

Pros: I was promoted to be a day shift Senior
Cons: 12 hours a day and 5 days a week

Excellent learning curve

Afri Guard is a good company just that i am looking for greener pastures, we escort car trains we work follow and monitor car trains so that it must not be tampered with we escort from Depo which is in Pretoria Rosslyn to Balfour Greylingstad in Mpumalanga . I work as a crew to my driver we using watsapp to update the car train this watsapp group is formed by Transnet just to report any irregularities. It is a dangerous job but we have been trained well we using two cars to escort the car train one car in front and the other at the back of the car train to monitor it and we have locomotive guards inside the train to safe guard the train drivers also the train itself.

Roles and functions are clear.

It is always challenging being a security officer given that you are daily dealing with people. People are the most difficult to deal with therefore one has to have patience, understanding and most importantly have interpersonal skills. In my case I have good relationship with most of the employees of the client, even the difficult ones. I am humble, I always apply listening skills hence I often times get to a resolution for both parties.

Pros: In case the client devide to terminate the contract, you get to report at another operating site.
Cons: Long working hours
