Great experience

Start off with an early morning meeting outlining what needs to be accomplished for the day. My relationship with my colleagues is great. They are awesome people to work with and they encourage me to out-do myself. One of the greatest things I've learnt is that no matter what you are going through, you need to put your emotions aside and keep things professional. The show must go on. It is fulfilling to communicate with your client and for them to tell you that they have gained something from your product is even more joyful. The most challenging aspects is getting a hold of our clients. We communicate with high level people and getting a simple confirmation can take weeks which is one of the factors that play a role in target reach. Personally, I am on the market and looking for something because I believe there are bigger and better opportunities out there than where I am. I just think it's time for greener pastures.

Pros: International exposure, knowledge amplification about investments matters
Cons: Highly competitive, work overtime but you don't get paid, salaries get processed late

Great learning experience

This company was a great learning experience which helped me to interact directly with management and also CEOs from across the globe. Morning meetings are great to keep you informed of the day ahead and of what we are looking to achieve in the day. Working environment is friendly and allows for learning all aspects of the business due to the few employee structure.

Pros: direct interaction with management; steep learning curve; great exposure to the market and investments in Africa
Cons: limited number of colleagues you work with; small organisation with little to no chances of promotion
