My experience with African Bank Ltd is quite challenging and needs goal driven and go getter person. Everyday is like a new day because we have to deliever for the company, even if you have exceeded your targets but nothing stoping you. We meet different people with different personalitirs and we have to adapt to situations and accept people as they are, solving their problems and satisfy their needs. Lots of Admin involved, credit assessment and affordability assessment, compliance and reports. Etc i enjoy working with my team as they are keen to learn and i always inspire them by motivating them and tell them how i got where i am. Listening to client's needs and being able to deliever to them, compliance , adhering to company policies and procedures is what i like most. Most challenging aspect is convincing a client who doesn't believe in a company especially african bank who has been under curatorship, you have to be transparent and honest about the company .

Pros: There is a great opportunity as the bank is going to transactional accounts, expansion will create opportunities especially with someone like me who has worked for Nedbank
Cons: No, normal working hours

Growth and internal training

We mostly work under no supervision but do team work as we work together and assist each other where needed.the colleagues and management make it the work environment more relaxed.branch queries are the most challenging as we have to work hand in hand and sometimes there is conflicts and misunderstandings.

Pros: good work environment
Cons: meeting deadlines
