I am a 31 year old Procurement Specialist working at a Catering company with +8 years’ experience in Procurement and Supply Chain. My key responsibilities involved: Supplier management, SAP Materials Management, Business Cases and Tenders. I am fully competent in the SAP (Production) environment. I love working in a performance orientated organisation that places emphasis on its knowledge assets and continuous improvement. Improved leadership development techniques
One area I enjoyed in my experience at Air Chefs is the fact that the company is in the hospitality and tourism industry operating in the aviation industry. The skills sets required for mass production and logistics are very limited. Talent management processes designed to train and develop the skills, build capacity and leadership were of great focus to ensure continuity and efficiency of the processes. Building internal benchmark processes in a highly competitive environment with limited/ non-publicized benchmark processes was also a challenge and an invigorating project to embark on with employees we attracted.
