My Daily work procedure

Normally arrive half hour to 45 minutes at work before work time starts. prioritize previous days and current days to do list. I get along very well with all colleagues, lots of friendly banter and lots of serious times. I have learnt a lot in the compressor industry , and enjoy watching the physical working of the equipment , to get a better understanding of where the parts work. Once the couriers deliver our parcels, check the invoices against the purchase orders. Allocate the stock to the relevant departments and advise them accordingly. Follow up on back orders and orders outstanding and confirm estimated date of arrival. Report back weekly to management on outstanding stock. Do monthly stock counts and sort out all queries. Handle counter sales and assist customers with quotations and advise on their technical requirements

New line of product

Family business that has been around for 30 years. Not much stress , everyone on first name basis. Most learning is self taught via brochures and verbal advise

Pros: Relaxed atmosphere
Cons: Not much oppurtunity for carreer growth
