It was a mining work, where udeal with people with different cultures and that speaks all south African languages, and they all want to communicate with their language. And as a store clerk you have to be able to communicate with each and every one of them, and be able to help them all. Most rewarding time is helping old people that should go on pension.

Excellent on Microsoft Office

A typical work day, consists of sorting out orders and prioritizing which orders to do first. See if I will be able to make the deadline on time. I am very friendly and treat co-workers with respect and dignity. It is a high pressure job that asks self dessipline and self starting. I need to be trusted to do the job without anybody checking up. I learned to make on the go planning and adapting. I have a very solo job that doesn't really involve other people. I enjoy the fact that I am trusted to make adjustments as I go to make the job easier. Most challenging aspect is to get the order out before or on the deadline date.

Cons: Long working hours
