HR & QM Manager

My energy is split between HR, IR and Quality Management. I lead the senior management team. We're a close team who rely on each other for insight, tactical and emotional support. I'm a member of a high performance team that I lead on the one hand and I engage blue collared Worker on the other. We announce and resolve the biggest challenge for the day as the start of each day. I discovered a home in QM for my love of trouble shooting. I'm permanently in project management and data harvesting mode. I lead the local project team in 2017 to shift from ISO9001:2008 to ISO9001:2015. I lead by intuition and make decisions based on data. I am the person who people come to when they need to shrug a load off or ask for clarity. Most challenging the industrial relations, but I'm a firm believer in working with your strengths so I'm setting up a Workers' Committee to increase quality of communication between Management and Workers. I am busy completing a Production Management for Industry course

Introduction

I have earned my Master of Engineering qualification in France in 1989 and became a Managing Director at the age of 29. Since then I have managed manufacturing subsidiaries for a French Group in South Africa. For the latest and for the past 8 years, I have regrown a business entirely with the merging of three engineering companies and turn them around into a successful business. To African markets, I bring precision, management and Engineering. To international companies I bring sound knowledge of manufacturing and project management. I am French speaking and fluent in spoken and written English. I am task orientated and have been in Project Management mode long before it became a popular phrase in manufacturing sector. I truly believe in the possibility of a strong team and understand that achievements are not bagged single-handedly. I am looking forward to meeting you and present myself further.

I learn something new everyday!

I have learnt so much this year and am looking forward to learning much more. I am always excited to go to work and enjoy what I do so much. The company closed down recently and I really miss work so much. I am passionate about what I do and the work was very challenging which made it even more exciting.

Cons: Having no work due to poor sales
