Excellent learning curve as I gained so much experience in the field of Payroll and HR
Not only did I just do the Payroll processing, I dealt with terminations, reporting, assisting the Finance/Accounts with queries regarding Payroll, UIF submissions and lots more. In terms of HR, I was head of Recruitment, Training and Employment Equity. I met so many amazing people. The AJP Group is a company that is growing so fast and it was such a great experience to be a part of it. My team and I worked so well together because we took the time to really understand one another as we are all different. And each of being so different made it so much better and great to work together. What i enjoyed the most is being to help employees, listen to their needs and problems and help them through it. The best part is seeing them happy.
Pros: Definitely a great place for growth as it already a company that is growing so greatly and fast
Cons: The distance

Not quite Architecturally stimulating or supported
On a normal day, work starts at 8am and ends at 5pm. THere's no aloowance for peole to have atleast an hour lunch as the kithen is too sall an you can get disciplined for taking too much time for lunch so
Pros: I get to work on most of the Architectural projects
Cons: Very long working hours, no lunch breaks

A great learning environment with excellent teamwork
Team work is implemented successfully with a proven record of timely deadlines. A great learning curve for design in the advertising sector and social media. A fair interaction between team and management, both democratic and autocratic leadership styles applied depending on deadlines. Opportunity to interact directly with major clients to gain experience on how to speak to them and complete their deadlines in their specifications.
Pros: Great environment for team building and a great learning curve
Cons: Longer working hours and unfair treatment of employees

Eye opening experience
Very interesting working for a Pick n Pay franchise, they own 10 stores where budgets and sales are even a bigger of a focus point than working for corporate stores where there are usually more leniency. I have learned interesting and out of the box ways of promoting and gaining customers.
Pros: Fun and rewarding incentives
Cons: Very long hours, convenience stores
