Excellent learning

Amazing company to work for. growing rapidly and thus ensure a leader in the industry as well as olening doors for constant carreer growth. big enough to be part of a success story and well known as a textile leader in the industry , small enough to care. the experience to be gained at this company is a massive boost for any young adult career driven for success. very difficult to find a spot from outside as ACS focus on internal appointments hence staying loyal to their employees.

Pros: great opportunities, rapid growth
Cons: Emotional Leadership from some of the directors

Higher education qualification not considered ( pay is for grade 12)

Would have been a great company had they given everyone equal chances to move up the career ladder,high percentage of individuals in supervisory/decent earning postions related to the top management.

Pros: introduction to shipping
Cons: napotism, unfair promotions or no fair procedures followed

Excellent learning curve

At Allport Cargo Services. I have learnt that communication is an important key. My time at Allport gave me insight on how it is to be able to track cargo from the manufacturer to airlines. Due to my honesty i have built a good relationship with my Managing Director. I have also learnt a lot about how well to treat our clients at various Distribution centres we supply to. My time at Allport also taught me a lot about trust amongst my co-workers. There has been challenges as well, like when cartons are delivered broken to our clients and i have to take accountability, that taught me to handle situations with utmost care and not make impulse decisions.

Pros: When the daily target are reached, one gets to purchase a new smartphone on company account.
Cons: Long work hours, especially when its peak season at the warehouse.
