i would say my aim is to consider the health and safety of the employees and to protect company s property by implementing system that one has to follow in terms of the mine health and safety Act. Being a safety officer in a working area needs good relationship,our relationship it is strong enough.Build with trust and honesty,i keep my word and i believe they also trust me.thus why they have to adhere to safety. i have leaned tat safety it is something simple as ABC always be careful and nothing it is small incident,it must be reported at all times and treated accordingly. what i enjoy the most is i like tackling issues those that affects the employees health and safety in their working environment the most challenging aspects in my working area,My responsibility is to ensure that my employees work safe and return home safely their lives in my hands.

Safeťy office

I am a safety officer assistance at lion smelter at Steelpoort. We working with TMM trackless mobile and machine. I issue PPE, report and investigate incident, do risk assessment and report to management about the safety of machines and operators in the plant.

Pros: Great opportunity to grow myself
Cons: Working far from my family, i am working in limpopo and my family is in Gauteng

Willing to learn new things

We handling hot and cold metal from the furnace crusher it and load it to export trucks for the client.removing hot CSP with fel(front end loader). Also do planning on services of the TMM in in time

Pros: Working as a team
