Great learning adventure

I would say it is an excellent learning curve yet rewarding and growth opportunities. I came in to volunteer my services because I love nursing but I ended up doing some of the courses that took me from ground level to where I am today. I might not be satisfied financially but I get to work with people on a daily basis and that is what I love. I am a people's person so being able to help people is what satisfies me.

Pros: there are growth opportunities
Cons: we are understaffed and that cause you to work longer hours

Great learning adventure

I open,withdraw and file the patient's files. I greet and direct them to the right consulting rooms. I do monthly statistics. My co workers are very cooperative, we work well. I have learnt that some people are impatient but you have to be professional all the time. I have made friends and relatives in my workplace. My challenge is when you have to work long hours, sometimes the assessors don't understand that our workplace is in a small scale so we are overcrowded.

Cons: long working hours
