My tenure at the company has been a great learning curve. It allowed me to gain an extensive, yet, exciting experience and understanding of the Cloud computing industry. On going personal development, training & support allowed me to grow and develop my peronal key skills through mentorship programs, acting team lead opprtunities and speciality programs. Day to day customer support & experience is our priority, whereby we provide technical billing support and education for our customer through our documentation which ensures understand of our products, services and pricing. Working with my colleagues has been nothing short of an excellent, trusting, cooperative experience, although challenging at times, the end result has always been to put aside differences, find resolve and service our customers first. The most challenging part would undoubtedly be irate customers, and the process of finding calm and understnding with them.

Working for the largest cloud computing company in the world

A typical day at work day: comprises of multiple meetings with either my direct team, support teams or engineering teams to drive large scale projects and programs. In between I'm working on project charters, workshops, feature request from the support engineers and data analyses for projections or project control. I typically work 10 hours a day and often have late evening meetings with personnel in America or Cost Rica. I have good relationships with follow program managers What I have learned: How to write up technical project documentation, liaise with enterprise customers, program management best practices, hiring senior personnel, mentoring juniors and interns Enjoy most: Making a direct impact to AWS customers through automation initiatives Challenging aspects: Work-life balance. High pressure of presenting to senior leadership. The ever-changing world of tech.

A great experience and a good challenge

Day to day team manager of 12 associates supporting customer with AWS service related queries for accounts and billing. I maximize my day with team monitoring, coaching and tracking of my team to ensure we focus on quality and productivity. Team work is essential and highly motivated to ensure a good team dynamic and meet targets. I have learnt the vast environment of AWS and it's services. I enjoy the customer service aspect of my role and the ability to lead a dynamic team for success. The challenging aspect is dealing with high volumes and the maintenance of the service levels.

Excellent learning curve

Great company eny to work for. Excellent benefits and growth opportunities. High work volumes and awesome people to work with. There is room for improvement with the on boarding support team, would be more ideal for orientation and training to happen before being on the job.

Awesome company and leadership skills

Brilliant environment and leadership teaching that you will carry through out ur life. Mostly deals with Indian and chinese customers that don't understand English but really enjoyed my time with them. The down fall of working there is that you get rated in stars and sometimes there is nothing you can do about a bad rating.

Pros: Learn alot, different cultures and environments and how to deal with an irate customer.
Cons: Rating by stars and feeling like crap for something you cannot change but need to keep moving forward
