Excellent learning curve

i have a great relationship with my co-workers,i love my job i live breath and eat what i do for a living,when step into my work place get into the zone and i do what am paid for.the most challenging aspects of the job is working with people who are not interested in what they are doing.i have learned that not everything has a short cut you either do it right or you do not do it at all .

Excellent environment to work in as we are all each other's brother's keeper.

Anglo American Kumba Iron Ore is a good company to work for. It has a business culture which doesn’t tolerate bullying, violence and harassment of each other at work and home. Safety is on each employee’s mind and we all make sure that we stop, look, assess and monitor (SLAM) every job we do for all us to remain safe. It will be excellent if the company can also promote women to top management roles as those positions are mostly occupied by men.

Cons: Too much travelling to the mines

Got more experience and working 12hour shift

have learn a lot and with differnt people and lauguegs.working working hard to reach tagets and good in working together.they use to say we are one team.

Pros: good working company.and could learn a lot .and using safety is one of the 1rule they want since well they put safety first

I'm a hard worker, team player and leader, can work under pressure

I enjoy challenges, I'm a people's person ,team leader, I don't take shortcuts and chances and enjoy following protocol. I'm a good learner and open to new renovations and targets

Pros: easy to excess
Cons: I enjoy working shifts and breakdowns, I've realised that you gain more knowledge of your equipment by doing shifts. you get different faults every now and again.

Diverse Company

Anglo American is a very Diverse in terms of the various people that one works and interacts with as well as opportunities given. Everyone gets along with one another as one interacts with various people from different cultures world wide, managers consistently put challenges ahead to keep one on their toes and alert. I enjoy learning new aspects of the job that i never knew. The most challenging part of the job is dealing with Corporate office requests.

Cons: Low Pay
