Great experience I have gained

Plant maintenance, do fault finding on electrical equipment, lights .do lock outs for fitters and boilermakers,maintenance on stacker and reclaimer machine ,do switching on medium voltage , replace fuse on power line , change and connect electrical motors , good working relationship with my co workers , we work as a team , I have learned to follow safety procedures and how to deal with pressure at work and to prioritize on the job that am doing , I enjoy fault finding , medium voltage switching, when we have to work and replace fuses when it's raining and when our 22 kV has tripped and and the plant is on stop and we as electrician we have to make sure that the power is restored safely .

Pros: Great working environment
Cons: Long shift

Work day is unpredictable Relationship with co workers are good, diversity Learnt a diversity of skills from different departments. Enjoy working with very smart people. Most challenging part is the ability to grow, shine and be recognised
