Excellent and busy environment
Enjoy the challenge of a strong vibrant busy environment. Every day is not the same as the Company is so vast and diverse and Im involved in overseeing the Fuel Expenditure of the whole group that there are new challenges every day. So its identify problems, put measures to rectify for future, deal with the present problem by limiting losses whilst operations continue with the least interruption. The people I work with come from all stratas of society and different levels from the Directors, Management , Security , drivers, labourers and office staff. with whom I share a cordial and healthy relationship. I enjoy that although we have many challenges we are able to manage them to our profit and proper utilisation.
Pros: Im left to work independently. Given the Direcotr's blessing to oversee, question and correct any aspect of controlling fuel to his fleet throughout the country.
Cons: Once you prove you , successful in a certain job role, you are left there for years. No upward mobility.

Excellent learning curve
-Office hours are as from 7:30 to 16:30 when working on site its 7:00 to 17:00 -You get to interact with all people of all Levels (professions) -People that I have worked with they very friendly and helpful if one need assistance work-wise -I have learnt that in Road construction they don't just work up and decide to build roads, but planning (brainstorming) is needed as well. Also not only Engineers play an important role in construction but also other professions and general workers do (e.g Project Manager, Surveyors, Flag-mans, Plant operators) -What I enjoyed the most is being able to work with all sort of Professions and seeing their frustrations and achievements and being given a chance to put my input in the production as well. -Most challenging aspects of the Job is well we have to meet a deadline but due to nature the project get to be delayed. (rainy days there is no operation) So when it clear we have to over work so that we would be able to cover the work for the days missed.
