Aramco Reviews

Excellent fall back

Aramco is always expanding with construction projects ongoing at various locations. However, Aramco doesn't offer market related packages. Procedures and rules regulates the performance of employees, so you don't need a lot of experience, however, most employees stays for a long time from initial employment.

Pros: Always has possibilities for the experienced
Cons: Doesn't allow out the box thinking due to vigorously following of procedures

Broad spectrum in the electrical field

The most exciting aspect in this type of work is the fact that you are not only bound to your discipline. It involved from earthworks through to civil's, structural and mechanical where electrical then followed in order to complete the project. The other aspect was the multi-national project environment. This was opportunity to see how different cultures interpret the scope and maintain common goals to reach the ultimate goal. The enjoyment I had received from this project is making new friends and the teachings we obtained from one another. The most challenging aspect being the language barrier. To co-ordinate the contractors from various parts of the world and to get them all to work together towards the same goals. The satisfaction when it was achieved was gratifying.

Pros: Experience abroad
Cons: Long duty rotaion
