If the salary was good i would not have any intentions of leaving at the ABH.

I am employed at the Old Aged Home, Orphans, Safe house, and a Nursing School. We have about 350 staff, 150 patients, 97 orphans, Nursing staff different categories , and the safe house maximum stay in is 6 months then they have to be found a permanent place to stay in and some we find them jobs. My duties are Secretarial / Receptionist I have a wonderful team that are treating me like family. When I started in 2009 at the ABH I was security I studied IT, they took me in 2011 at the Aged Department as a Secretary / Switchboard with no experience they taught me never judged me and then 2014 I was promoted to Human Resource Department as a Secretary / Receptionist to date and I do my duties to the best of my ability and also very good with malt tasking.

Leadership skills, supervision, coaching, call centre and computer skills

I enjoyed my working hours they were reasonable. My co- workers were good to me, we made a good team(team spirit). I have learnt new things like how to work independently, with or without under supervision. I enjoyed the most doing activities with children and I was Senior child and youth care worker and I enjoyed taking children to the camping and facilitate mind games cause I like playing games. The challenges were these, some of children were teenagers who like to take drugs and some of them used to bunk schools, used to fight each other and that a conflict in my work place.

Pros: I was asked to get my drivers license so that I can get my promotion
Cons: Sometimes I used to work double shift

Excellent learning experience.

My work at ABH has given me lots of experience. I love to be at work. Every day is a different day with many challenges. In my position I work directly with all level of staff, and learnt that when U give respect u also receive respect. Work always has deadline but never miss an opportunity to smile. Cons: Due to company being NPO salaries are at a minimum
