I've learned a lot in working in heavy and unionised industry; excellent

I started working at Assmang Chrome Machadodorp a smelter company producing manganesse and chrome, I worked in different departments; Finance department as Storeman doing all storework from clerical to store control and moved to Safety Department as Full time Health and Safety Rep responsible for 710 employees. I was a shopsteward since 2008 until 2014 I negotiated salaries increases, safety working condition and worker friendly HR policies. in Safety department I was doing safety awareness training for all employees, doing inspections, PJO, Toolbox talk, accident investigation, risk assessments and chair all safety rep meeting responsible for 34 safety reps training them. I worked Monday to Friday and on weekends work in union office as eHlanzeni regional secretary and on Sundays at Church because I'm a Pastor Thanks Shalom

Pros: remuneration was so great
Cons: shift working and safety hazards

Good with Computer

To work at this job it was good because i was learning more things about themorcouples cubes paste and how the fence in order to run well what is needed or not to be needed there so we product good product. My relationshop with co workers was good they gave a the name Diddy. What i really enjoy most is working with people so you can learn from there difference of ideas being put into the table.

Pros: great opportunity to learn move from one position to another
Cons: long working hours plus standby

Learned a lot

I loved working for the company as I've gained much experience not only regarding working physically but also interacting with people from different backgrounds

Pros: A great place to be at and the wellness of employees were attended to on a serious note
Cons: No enough time of due to standbys and being under stuffed
