My passion for sourcing and procurement.

I enjoy working with figures and very good with that, negotiating with contractors when requesting quotes for road hauling and for trains from Transnet Freight Rail (TFR). The most challenging aspect, firstly, is when TFR cancel the trains, whilst we are concerned about getting the product to the customer or port in time. Secondly, when the product is not meeting customer's specifications - implying that the quality is not good. I work with a big group and are coming from different backgrounds and culture, therefore, I try and understand them and their situations without compromising the performance delivery which is a priority.
