There is always a room to learn.

During my tenure with Aster, I was responsible for procurement of goods and services for the company,Managed the Warehouse, Planned and scheduled stock count, engaged in Strategic Sourcing of New Suppliers and the negotiation of best pricing in conjunction with the Directorate as well as the distribution and placing of orders. I am a valuable member of the team and interacts easily and positively with Directorate Management, Colleagues and external stakeholders alike. I have learned that team work is key, there is no I in a team and that where there is team there is conquest. I enjoy working as as a team and serve people. The most challenging aspects of the job are agent request and delivery period. Remember these two issues are beyond your control and depend on availability of goods and services as well as your relationship with your suppliers.

Pros: Yes there is always great opportunity for promotion depending on what you put in.
Cons: Long working hours is an option however you need to make sure that the work is always done and up to standard.

Excellent in my field as project manager

Well spoken and capable at communicating at all levels willing to take up any challenge and able to see any thing through from start to Finnish with in the time and budgets given

Pros: Learning new ways to make more money
Cons: Willing to work any time and place for the right package

Worked at Aster International for =20 years and gained all my various experience from this International Company. Unfortunately due to the economic climate in South Africa, their head office in Italy decided to pull out of Africa.

Pros: Have got all nessessary experience required
