I have 10 years experience in retail and gained retail knowledge and experience at PicknPay.

My daily working experiences entails interacting with people with different cultures as our client base is international. I fully enjoy my experiences and as my aim and intuition is customer/client services. We are a great team with good communication skills and work together with a good understanding and respect. I have learned to have patience, diligence and coping methods when dealing with different situations and try my utmost to solve any problems with immediate effect. I enjoy working with people form different nationalities and leaning their cultures and understandings of their surroundings. The challenging aspects is when a customer/clients requirements have not been met, but we still need to go the extra mile to make sure the customer/client is satisfied.

Pros: Meeting new people, Learning new career skills, Helps in developing the overall personality, Can be a specialist over a period of time in the desired department, Opportunity to travel at various locations where the hotel is located, Other job benefits, A range of entry level jobs available which gives flexibility to choose a desired department
Cons: No time limitations – one has to work on weekends as well as national holidays, 24*7 approach – being present at all the times (whenever the demand for your presence is required), Industry being dependent on economic conditions, therefore, with a downfall in the economy, the industry always goes low
