What I have learnt
I am currently unemployed and looking for empoyment opportunities. What I have learned over the 20 year span at my previous IT company in Sandton was quite a belssing Business Acumen, how a business operates and how important it is to drive Revenue Project Management, how Projects works hand in had with Functional Operation to improve and integrate Operational activities The teaming dinamics between Sales, Operations and back Office support was of high quality and added to the business Value. Though a large company our networks of cross skilled professional, improved relationships with co-workers and clients. I will be a vaulable asset to the Company who decides to employ me.
Pros: Great opportunities for Education/Training
Cons: At times the Business had not met its targets / Revenue or we failed to secure Contracts, as a Company - team we would not gain increased or at a very low level %

Corporate, no heart. Retrench a whole team on 24 December, for example. Far too much interruption of personal life due to unreasonable deadlines and manager's organisation and career aspirations.

My current status
I have just completed a 12 month contract with Nedbank and available immediately. I have 15 years experience in the IT industry and I do meet all of the requirements for this position.
Pros: Was too good learning the ropes err compliance and legislations in our country and in those particular time frame

Great Company to work for
Very busy, high staff turnover, mainly vehicle sales. Wonderful co-workers and management. Great cultural diversity training. Team spirit no 1 in this company. Most challenging aspect was to cope with the workload

General attributes
I have extensive EPM/SharePoint and MS Projects as well as PMBOK Governance experience. I will be of benefit to any organization to the best of my abilities. My friendly character makes met get along with all employees. My biggest challenge is reporting accurately on all Risks, Issues, Dependencies.
Pros: Gaining a lot of experience to maybe move over to the Reserve Bank in future.
Cons: Standard Bank not investing to appoint people permanently. Concentrating on contractors and now going through a restructuring process and NOW process - New way of work.

Great Company
I enjoy the fast pace high pressured environment that has different challenges on a daily basis. There is a great team spirit amongst staff members across all branches. The company delivers good service to clients and are driven to continuously improve on this.
Pros: There are many opportunities for promotions if you are willing to relocate.
Cons: No cons.
