Excellent learning curve

Working for Avis Budget rent a car has grown me so much. I have learned so much that i didn't now i could be able to do. I am still learning more things from other departments also, not just mine,

It’s a great learning curve working there made me learn somuch.

The company is a good company to work for their benefits are the best you could ever wished for but the their growth is very slow , learning curve is the best you get to learn more in the industry managers treat you well , working environment is ok nothing hectic about it, it’s a hood company to start working for it it’s a great learning curve

Great environment to learn new technology - the business is very operationally focused which requires many sessions to effectively prioritize and plan structural improvements along with just-do-it business requirements.

LEARNT A LOT

GGOOD RELATIONSHIP WITH CO-WORKERS NO ROOM FOR PROGRESSION WORK IS NOT THE ISSUE , JUST THE LACK OF GROWTH AND MOVEMENT THE WORK ENVIRONMENT IS GOOD, THE WORK FACILITIES ARE ALL GOOD. GOOD PLACE TO WORK

Dedicated Internal Auditor loving my daily roles and responsiblities

I am presently an Internal Audit Manager for Avis Budget Rent a Car South Africa a division of Barloworld Ltd responsible for the delivery of the Avis Budget audit plan. I have completed my external articles at Aldrighetti & Associates Chartered Accountants covering the period 2003 to 2006 where I changed my career path to be a dedicated Internal Auditor. I am currently studying Enterprise Risk Management thru UNISA that should be completed October 2018. I've gained valuable leadership and management experience, managing teams of auditors & interns, fraud investigations, ensuring quality deliverable to Executive and Directors and contribution to the Internal Audit department’s strategies.

Great experience gained

A real learning curve i have gained so much experience, customer service, people skills, communicating skills, handeling of difficult customers/clients, completing tasks before its due date, Time Management, fire fighting and first aid. It was a real learning curve gaining so much experience and self discipline to work well as a team or individually. I firmly believe that i can be an asset to any organisation or company as i bring professionalism, attention to detail, punctuality, respectfulness, self discipline and respcting my peers and colleagues to the table. I am honest, reliabke and trustworthy. Me being a part if such a successful organisation/company can only enhance my carreer path thus improving myself daily which i think is imperative to grow as a person.

Good to work at avis

i enjoyd my years at my companybut at the moment i am looking for a,new,challenge,i actually want to climb the corporate ladder and i cannot do it at my company as the only opportunity is outside PE and i dont want to relocate.its a good company to work for but i am looking for exposure i want to learn more and do more,something that i know i can do is work and i feel the need to upskill myself,hence the reason i am looking for something else

It's a great company with lots of opportunities,growth and succThe pandemic made things made a negative impact in the company which made people lose their jobs.Staff is unde paid ess.
