A stepping stone of note

Having not studied Public Relations, and with no prior experience, i jumped into a challenging role that had been vacant for a couple of months. The company represents a number of vendors and focuses the majority of its marketing efforts predominantly on the B2B sector, which is tge most challenging aspect of this job. The job also entails budget meetings with the mrketing representatives of each Business Unit to decide on activities for the quarter as well as identifying PR opportunities for high level employees. I allso assumed the role of traffic manager in the design process as well as that of copywriter and proofreader. Working with people from various backgrounds and designations has taught me a lot about myself. The corporate culture is complimented by a lively atmosphere and underlined by a drive to provide excellent service continuously. The aspects of my job which I enjoy most are copywriting and traffic management.

Cons: Limited career growth opportunites
