Typical day is twelve hour shifts where I ensure the entire site is cleaned from inside to outside,double checking that all projects are done . I have a great relationship with my co workers and treat them with respect and return they show me respect a happy worker is a good worker. I have learnt many extra abilities as in how to assess a project minimise the time and utilise the least amount of workers to complete a project. Most of all I enjoy working meet new people in that way you learn more and grow faster,also enjoy finishing what I start it gives me a sense of completion. The most challenging is to please the client as it is very important to keep the complex clean and also I love a challenge it keeps me motivated.

Pros: adapt easily, quick learner
Cons: doesn't matter i adapt

Excellent learning opportunity

Excellent learning curve as this started off a graduate programme. I love the people, the culture in the organisation is built around being family. I have learnt a lot in HR however, my field and passion lies in Marketing and I would like to peruse that. I have been given an opportunity to plan a team building for my colleagues, and helped put together a Community of practice breakfast session for all heads of HR in the Bidvest Group.

Pros: Excellent Learning curve

Innovation & service Excellent

Joined Royalserve under Mvelaserve Group as a Contract Manager in June of 2012. I was tasked with managing a new contract SAB Chamdor, no experience both from myself and the business. Two months done the line, we were awarded two bigger Food&Hygiene SAB Contracts. I have contributed immensely both at Royalserve and Bidvest Prestige managed to excel and drive the business to newer heights from business retainment, service, innovation and people management. It's a cut throat industry. Through cost cutting measures was retrenched. I am available and recently relocated in durban.

Pros: Senior Operations Manager in charge of Food&Beverage
Cons: Long hours 24/7 day/week

Experience in have because they have given me work and that work gave me experience as well. .

I'm very grate full and I will take Prestige into consideration because I have been survivingiven by their salary. No doubt my children are grown by means of Bidvest Prestige.

Pros: Big up because I'm from cleaner to driver, promotions are there if you deserve it by means of what they yout must able to producelebrate them. Working as a team is great because we are able to help one another
Cons: Hectic sometimes I was able to work day and night. That's is one thing that was putting lot of pressure. Clientso are on and off that one should bear in his/her mind that's the other challenge.

Strive to excel

I am a peoples person, colleagues enjoy my company. I'm asset to the company and to my team, I have learn to adapt myself to change and carry on with new system, I enjoy to assist to the best of my knowledge. I guess I'm capable to perform every duties that is been explained to me and ask questions where there's no clarity and I adhere to instructions.

I did not learn anything as i was a temporary cleaner

i was a temporary cleaner for one month n i did not gain any experience bt atleast i was able to make some money and provide for my family as i was paid according to the days i worked

What an experience.

I have an outstanding track record in the services industry over the past 20 years. In my various roles, I have exhibited a great amount of flexibility, dedication and willingness to learn. Pros: I never was as ambitious as I am today, having been let go from my Company, as I was before I started my career there. The Company did a fantastic job of putting a tremendous amount of exceptional people in the same room at the same time. Seeing the progress and success of those around me, made me aspire to grow the company’s business and increase my own impact across markets. It was never enough. No matter how much I was doing or what I had achieved, it was never enough.
Cons: 24 7 working hours. Always on call
