It was a Good learning experience, but in life a person needs to move on in order to grow..
I started working at Bliss Brands as a Scanner Operator & Filing Clerk in 2006. 3 Years later I was promoted and moved into our Finance Department where I became a Junior Credit Controller and a year later Senior Credit Controller where I currently engage in Full Credit Control function. I'm also handling All our New Credit Applications where I do Trade References and liaise with Lombard Insurance, Trans Union, Experian, Niche for All our Trade Credit Functionality.. : Debt collecting; ie Print age analysis, review diarised promises by client, follow up on debtor arrears, do telephonic enquiries, obtain bank statements, allocate payments against customer accounts, requesting remittances from client, verify validity of claims and forward it to responsible department for authorization thereof. maintain customer records and update where needed. Liaise with client on an ongoing basis with regards to collection.
Pros: The Stepping stone was Great, but growth was stagnant..
Cons: Benefits, as well as medical is Not provided within the package, hence better prospects was always sought after..
