A LEARNIG EXPERIENCE
LIFE AT BLUE MERCURY WAS AN INTERESTING EXPERIENCE FOR ME. THE TEAM OF CO-WORKERS I HAD BY MY SIDE WERE AWESOME, WE GOT ALONG VERY WELL AND MOTIVATED EACH OTHER WELL. WHAT I LEARNT FORM THAT COMPANY IS HOW TO TURN NEGATIVITY INTO POSITIVITY, WHATEVER SOMEONE ELSE CAN SAY NEGATIVELY, YOU MUST NOT ENTERTAIN IT BECAUSE IT WILL DERAIL YOU FROM YOUR GOALS AND THE REASON WHY YOU ARE THERE IN THE FIRST PLACE. WHAT I ENJOYED MOST WAS THE TEAMWORK AMONGST MY CO-WORKERS AND DRIVEN ATTITUDE WE HAD. THE MOST CHALLENGING ASPECT OF MY JOB,WAS THE FACT THAT I WAS NOT ALLOWED TO WORK ACCORDING TO MY SET OUT STRUCTURE. e.g. if I'm behind target, I set out a certain structure where I allocate time and targets for myself, then you get management who will interrupt that time schedule by calling unnecessary meeting which took a hour, thus limiting the time I have set for myself, not forgetting I have targets to reach. IN ALL AND ALL, IT WAS A LEARNING EXPERIENCE.

Cons: NOT BEING ALLOWED TO MANAGE YOUR TIME EFFICIENTLY

Excellent working enviroment
It is a exciting enviroment lots of dedicated staff memebers.The team leaders are awesome they motivatational speechs are incredible.if you new to sales its the best place to start and you can make lots of money.

Lot has been learned
There is a lot learned at the company due to haw to bundle clients objections and make sales. How to sound when calling a clients, as an agent u have to be prepared for every call u make either the client will answer or not ilu have to be prepared because if u are u will know what to say and how to say it to the client. Which word are important to say to a client in a script and which words to emphasize more when u in a call with the client and also which u can just say and not too important. Time management because when u have a call back with a client u can't be a minute late for that call because u will be taking the clients time, so being on time for the call backs is very important and that's how u learn how to manage your time.
Pros: Great opportunity to make more money.

I'm hard working target driven and willing to work any shift I'm a team player and I can work in any environment for my years I have been applying what I have learnt which is respect dignity and understanding

Different sales techniques aggressive selling, charismatic selling
I am a long term insurance telesales agent. I've sold policies for One Life and Discovery lifes investment life cover. Premiums average from R550 up to R3500. Cold dialing leads system.
Pros: medical aid weekly incentive averaging at R600

I'm learning new things and making money.
Each company has it's ups and downs, but I tend to focus more on the ups and focusing on my goals. Ever since Clientele Life has been under new management we've had changes with the salary, whereby a person gets factored if they don't meet their target and even the employees needs were not met. Bur all i can say I've learned a lot under that organisation under those circumstances.
Pros: Great leadership skills from my current supervisor.

Great work experience
Working for Blue Mercury was nice because I got to learn about selling different packages and the work environment was fun. Working late hours want nice and still have to work during the weekend and you are unable to have your life besides work.
