Excellent learning curve,
Working in the Utilities department, my job review is as follows: 1. Accomplish Departmental human Operational objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting,training, assigning. 2. Provide recommendations of strategic plans and reviews to Upper Management. 3. Plan electrical projects by determining specifications to include: selecting contractors. 4. Assists with the development of new electrical engineering standards and maintains and Improves existing standards and guidelines. 5. Updates job knowledge by remaining current on codes and requirements; participating in educational opportunities. 6. Acts as a subject matter expert regarding some electrical engineering activities and participates in engineering design and construction review processes for department projects. 7. Reviews electrical discipline calculations and equations, including electric circuit calculations.

Always give your best and to render an excellent service to all customers/client with a smile.
Typical work day starts off with checking your emails and responding to mail that requires feedback. Workflow will be checked and attended to. Bank statements will be drawn for your different End markets you service and then processed via SAP. The teams worked well together as regular coffee sessions took place to catch up with all departments. To have worked for a shared service it's all about your client. Building a professional relationship where you satisfy your clients by giving your best and always communicating and keeping them informed on their accounts. Freedom to responsibility was key (whether you worked from home or on site you knew what was expected from you. Most challenging aspects was the communications lines(telephonically) because we serviced our neighbour countries in Africa (we will rather communicate via email .
Pros: Always acknowledge whereby the line managers and managers will discuss you should you qualify for the position
Cons: Rewards was given for long service over every five years

Great company to work for.
Very challenging environment. High performance teams. Have to think out of Tue box and be flexible. High risk and stressful but very rewardng. Market is shrinking so growth is limited

Now looking for a new & challenging accountancy position, one which will make best use of my existing skills and experience & also further my development. My most recent job has provided me with extensive Fixed Asset knowledge and experience. I am also planning on furthering my studies in 2016 by completing a degree in Accountancy and also do a SAP consultant certification course.

Brilliant work experience
Working at a global organisation I have learnt how to form relationships with key stakeholders, including agencies, in order to achieve one common goal. I enjoy working with people and therefore thrive off this collaborative team work. Nor one day is the same as we are faced with different challenges everyday which keeps us on our toes which I enjoy. The most challenging aspect of working for a large global company is the corporate politics involved however this is counter-balanced by the wonderful people we get the opportunity of working with and learning from.
