I've learned more about how to help customers with no know clue of what they where looking for leave the store having found what they were looking for. Gave me a chance to learn how to handle admin and also a chance to do data entry. Customer satisfaction is of the upmost importance when it came to this job. My experience here also helped me work better with people I worked also improved my communication skill

A definite leaning cruve
Every day felt like a very patchy and unprofessional company was running a very well known name/franchise. They employ youngsters and then have unmotivated regionals and responses to staff queries along with last minute schedule changes without notifying you well enough in advance. As well as asking staff to not only general stock take, cash up and repricing but to clean the entire store (including windows), undermine any suggestions to better the store or service. I also found that in the time that I was working there I was personally disgusted by the sexist way staff were being treated. For example - I, myself who takes pride in being a very well groomed young lady (who also happens to love video games) was undermined and called very crude and disrespectful names - that should not be said in the workplace.
Pros: Promotion is easy to obtain
Cons: Long hours and the chance of being moved around from one branch to another (without travel compensation)

I have learnt how to deal with customer services and sales
I have learnt a lot of new things in the company, I sell and promote out products I deal with customer services, dealing with issues and faults I do admin work, booking in stock and sending out stock to other branches/ head office I receive stock and count them and check if they all balance with the systems I enjoy meeting new people and I love helping clients, I make sure that the customer satisfied My relationship with my staff is a friendly atmosphere and also making sure that all work is being done Nothing is too challenging for me once I learn it and practice it, I feel confident doing it

Great Career Experience
In terms of working with colleagues, it has been a refreshing and uplifting experience, we each bring a quality that complements each other well and ultimately have grown. due to the exclusive (racist and sexist) nature of my industry i have found myself occasionaly at odds with clients over simple circumstances. My time with the company has been enjoyable but in order to maximise my capability and ultimately sustain any growth in my career i need to move forward

Cons: non malleable working schedule, over dependence on the minimum required staff, challenging clients

Good learning curve
Just normal sales and talking to clients about games releasing soon and what they are currently playing. My relationship with my co-workers is good and we all get along and help one another. I have learnt to understand where people are coming from . I enjoy giving advice on what they should buy and hearing their views on games they played and them asking for my opinion.

Excellent in what I do
It's a great experience in the gaming industry. Customer service has been my strong point and solving problems there gas better that skill of mine. A typical work day has to be when we force to make target and make it! Good relationship with all co-workers except for the manager as he's never happy with anything or anyone and that result to conflict. I've developed a skill of managing and leading and an upgrade to my customer service skill. Enjoy giving a good customer service and being know by my customers and called by name and making sure a customer walks out the door happy. Racist customers as I hate racist people.

Fast learner
Bt Games is a good company that treats it's employees fairly. It does not have any growth in the employee structure. It is a good place where one could gains experience in the work industry.

Retail taught me how to work well with customers requests as well as a team
In retail we dealt with a lot of difficult customers but it taught me to keep calm under situations that are heated and to compromise to satisfy customer requests and increase productivity It also taught me how to work with others and function together as a team

High self growth because I'm able to handle all problems myself.
Open store in the morning, which isn't as busy as it used to be. Morning stock check on new release stock and some valuable stock, like consoles. Some days, I do a weekly stock check of entire store. Clean store after Check web orders Check emails Check actions from Head Office Recieve stock, check and pack Check what Items are supposed to be on display. Update promotion items and marketing materials in store like banners, sensormatic sleeve and promotional boards. Help daily walk in clients
Pros: Very hands on, learn alot by engaging with customers and solving problems.
Cons: Hours can be long but not bad. Store tends to get very quiet.
