Beneficial learning curve

A typical work day consists of 9 hours productivity, working closely with team members to provide an efficient solution for our customers, and assisting new team members with learning and excelling. I have learnt that having tough skin is vital when working in such an environment as any given call/customer has the potential of altering your mood if you allow it. I enjoy getting positive feedback from customers with regards to faults I have solved and also the quality of the service I provide. The most challenging part is when customers want to cancel their services and convincing them to stay on board even though they have every reason to cancel.

Pros: experience with dealing with international customers.
Cons: Long working hours and too little pay.

Team manager experience is extensive I've worked in 3 call center the past 15 years

5&midToken=AQI am self motivated, target driven , meets KPI’s to achieve client SLA, self managed, responsible, I set realistic goals and achieve them. Making sure all KPI’S are met by motivating my team. 1_2_1 sessions ,coaching, meeting deadlines by prioritizing and getting things done timeously. I am always engaging with my agents to better understand their mindset so I know how best to handle each indervidual. I listen before responding and always look at the situation from all angles. I've learnt so much in 15 years its not anything in particular however like I said I am self motivated and a go getter. I enjoy celebrating successes with my agents. The most challenging is dealing with agents that have that know it all attitude however with those agents giving them more responsibility usually works to boost their self esteem and at the same time keep them out of causing drama or unnecessary situations

Pros: If possible I would love preferably night shift as I am a single parent with a 7 year old son. I recently bought my own home which has been my biggest achievement.
Cons: I'm looking for stability I don't mind long odd working hours I'm completely comfortable with the hours. I am in the process of getting my fiber installed. The application has been submitted I'm just waiting for an installation date as I need to start a job asap due to financial commitments

Communication Skills,Trouble Shooting skills

I haive i enjoyed working as a teamor in a team because i had a chance to learn most of the things from my coworker it has grown my mind and my skills the most thing i enjoyed the most was when i was able to fix the customers issue and also to get recognition because of the effort i have put in and also be proud of my self when they are happy with the services that we give to Customers so i have worked then i had to do 2 jobs at the same time this was never worked as a Customer Services

Pros: Company has great opportunity like growth within the company and also promotion as they can see that you have the ability to work
Cons: long hours 12 hours

Good learning curve

Appreciated the opportunity to work there... Was just unhappy about salary package being too low. It goes up to R4750 and you need to provide own transport for late nightshifts. Other than that great learning experience and good people I worked with.

Not a good company to work with. Employees are not treated well.

At CCI we are being over worked and underpaid... our commission structure is not good, if you stay our from work, even if you have a sick note it gets taken away...we work 9 hours a day and get paid 4750 + night shift allowance of 300. (14:00-00:00 shift)... However, I like the environment there, it is relaxed and it is nice getting to know different kind of people, I have a great team manager who has helped me build my relationship with God, she drives me to be the best I can be at my job. Working at a call centre has taught me to be patient, calm and understanding, empathy. Despite everything else, I love my job.

Great learning experience

Lack of employee support and salary range. You have to do a lot of work and get paid peanuts. You don't have a life working awkward hours even during weekends. Lack of support from management to employees

Excellent learning curve

I gained so much experience and how to work with different people and have patience with people. Although it wasn’t the easiest job as it looked because of the long working hours but I learnt a lot. Especially with different customers attitude but you still have to remain calm and do your job keeping in mind that the customer is always right.

Relatively okay

I work well with customers considering the amount of pressure we work under and the long hours, there is nothing I could fault about the company I enjoy working there but I'm absolutely positive I could be worth more to another company and grow from agent to manager in a shorter period of time considering my potential and ability.

Cons: Too little pay
