Fast paced environment
One thing is for sure, No two days are ever the same in the FMCG industry! The day is filled with many operational issues to resolve, many customers to deal with and keep happy and orders to dispatch. I have a very good relationship with my co workers. There is mutual respect among the staff. I came into the position with 6 years prior experience and have matured to a more national role as opposed to the provincial position i held previously. The exposure is great and the role is extremely exciting save for the lack of support from senior management. Middle management has ceased to exist as a result of this. The most challenging aspect would be the good fight for STOCK to sell. it is a constant battle but most bearable under the right circumstances and management team.
Pros: Year end Shut down
Cons: no growth and low salary

Just a job
Working in this company is mostly challenging as there are many things that can make you feel like an outsider, the relationship between the management team and the employees is so not great. They fail to organise their purchase orders, which makes it more difficult for us to perform our duties the best. We are treated as the not important part of the company and we don't have any benefits, even our bonuses we must first fight for it before we get them. I would say the wages though is better, atleast we are able to put food on the table..
Pros: No opportunities for growth
Cons: Normal working hours
