I've learned how approach a client,how to sell and persuade ,telephonic experience,
Cape Union Mart is an easy company to work for I have gained lots of experience in sales telephonic and in person.I really enjoy helping and advising clients what to take explain features and benefits of the product and created a vibey interaction,also enjoy opening store cards and getting people to ask questions explain how it's gonna benefit them . I also have a great relationship with my colleagues as we always help one another and became more like a family and created a bond yet knowing we in a work place we need to be professional

It's a very fun environment to work for.I had an awesome relationship with my colleagues as we always help one another and became more like a family and created a bond yet knowing we in work place we need to be professional.I have actually learnt quite a lot like to use a mature approach to the customers ,delivering awesome retail experience.I enjoyed the work itself I love challenges so getting different customers with different attitudes really became an exercise ,doing what the company expects from me.

Fun environment. Had an awesome relationship with my colleagues. I've learned how to deliver awesome retail experience. I enjoy getting different customers with different attitudes it actually gives me experience or exercises me for the next customer I love challenges. I'm always willing to learn

It's a good learning curve and have gained a lot experience working for Cape union Mart.
I have been part of Cape Union Mart for 5 years now,in my learning curve I have developed myself a lot in day to day operation. In my experience I trained. New casual and assistant managers who joined the company,I have strong abilities to merchandise and maintain the stores standard. I have never skipped a month without reaching target for the store; I motivate staff by measuring their performance in finding their weakness and strength there for I coach and support them, and allow them on take initiate in what they do. I enjoy working with people and I can solve conflicts at work.

Excellent learning, skills development
Cape Union Mart is a great company to work for, being an outdoor and adventure store there's so much to offer customers. You get to meet various of different types of customers from all over the world, who enjoys travelling and exploring the world. Meeting different races, culture and traditions is like learning sharpening the rainbow nation.

Great learning opportunity
Cum has a great company culture driven by trust, innovation and passion for its people. The leadership is very people oriented however there are few senior execs that practice this.

Cons: No opportunity for mentorship. Long hours and extensive travel hinder work life balance
