Exellent learning experience

a normal working day involves going to site for some time then coming back to the office and capturing data that is outstanding. we work as a team of six individuals and we do have ups and downs but we do try to be professional at all cost. i have learned a lot of things as we deal with the boiler department and we have learned a lot from Boiler Pressure Parts, HP Piping, Thickwall and Fac as i work with engineers closely. i enjoy learning the about each system and about electricity as whole from turbine,auxilary,chemistry and the boiler most importantly. the most challenging aspects of the job is the terminology and the complexity of engineering as a whole, with that said i enjoy learning on a daily basis.

Pros: exposure when working in the plant
Cons: changing of deadlines due to pressure

Perfect learning curve

Carab is an interesting company to work for because you focus on different aspects like training the client also do project management. Quality is very important you have to provide quality inspection results. Time management Budget and logistics. Another important thing is safety we always practice safety when performing duties.

Pros: Can be promoted to plant care
Cons: Normal working hours plus standby

Good company to be able to learn in

Good company. Provides the potential to grow,but only to a certain extent. Co-workers are friendly and easy to get along with. The company itself has an open minded culture. I enjoy being able to work with other people,especially if they are team players

Pros: Great company for a learning opportunity
Cons: Contract based work with clients,so sometimes a bit worrying when contracts dont come through in time
