New Environment

working at Carey Olsen has become very relaxed. In the beginning it was alot of pressure as it was a total new environment that i needed to adapt to however over a few months I started to get all my ducks in a row. I ensure that my daily priorities re sorted by end of day. being organised and accurate was key. At Carey Olsen I have learnt a new accounting package system and can gladly say that I have mastered it in the office. I became the "go to" guy in the office and train all new staff on how to use the system. I enjoy the office space and environment and the fact that everyone gets along well. Its also very diverse and you can learn things from your colleagues.. The most challenging aspects would be the lawyers that i serve as what they expect is nothing less than perfection. In the beginning i was put under immense pressure by them however i have grown to handle them and provide them great service.

Pros: Fringe Benefit of medical was fully paid
Cons: working with other nationalities can cause confusion

Excellent International experience

I have an excellent relationship with my colleague. The work enviroment is very relaxed. I enjoy that we have an open office andI have an excellent relationship with my colleague. The work enviroment is very relaxed. I enjoy that we have an open office and can communicate and ask each other questions and also put our earphones in to have personal time. The most challenging part of my job is being responsible for my own productivity and managing my stats and keeping all parties happy. The job does include alot of time pressure and we are monitored to ensure a high level of work.. can communicate and ask each other questions and also put our earphones in to have personal time.
