I learned a lot and gained a lot of working experience

Typically we have a lot of functions, sometimes more than one per weekend, this is when we are extremely busy and tasks overlap. I do get along well with co-workers, we try to keep a sense of humor while getting tasks completed. There are also more quiet days where one can really pay more attention when designing marketing material for instance. I have learned a lot of interpersonal relationships, working towards deadlines, gained a lot of design and layout experience and juggling more than one task at a time. Doing magazine layout was what I enjoyed most. The challenges are mainly working accurately while working fast.

Pros: Working this long for a company, I know the look and feel of the design and know what to do when given a task
Cons: Not really growth opportunities

Excellent learning opportunity

Work hours: 8 to 5 Great co-workers I enjoy the marketing research, and planning Not always being mentored or helped, being judged and no leadership A crazy workload. No help from management

Excellent learning space

I work from home which is very nice. Go to the office twice a week. I love working from home. I am on Skype throughout the day talking with my co-workers. I love designing and have learned a lot in my time at the company. The most challenging aspects of my job is keeping the publisher happy. Finding the right photo that he has in mind.

Cons: Long hours and I have reached the limit in promotions
