Excellant Learning Curve

Ceramic World t/a iTile is a great company to work for as you gain alot of exposure to tiling and sanitaryware industry. As a small company with 5 different branches, I do not get to interact much with the other employees, because at head office we are only 4 people. The managing director, financial director, online shop employee and I. I would like to think I have a great working relationship with co workers especially the store managers and warehouse administration staff. Company works on an open door policy and my relationship with the financial director is great one. The one thing I have learnt at Ceramic World is how the retail works in the Tiling and sanitaryware industry works. I would occassionally visit the showroom downstairs to view the imported tiles and also get a visual picture of the items or products that we receive from our suppliers. The challenging aspect was adapting to this type of environment and also working with franchise stores.

Pros: Great opportunity to gain knowledge and experience in the finance field
Cons: long hours and working weekends with no overtime
