Good entry-level position to gain experience needed for a solid career in marketing and admin

A typical work day is very busy, I have a schedule that plans out my day but also leaves space for miscellaneous tasks that may pop up. I manage the social media on a daily basis and work co-coordinating the creative team when we run a campaign. This involves communication with photographers, graphic designers, writers and management. I have learnt about many things working at CBI, but most of all I have learned that planning ahead is essential. Always be prepared. I have enjoyed being able to see the end part of a project or campaign and know that you played a part in the final product. The most challenging aspect of the job was having to draw boundaries where deadlines need to be set. But ultimately deadlines are good for everyone because they mean that the final product will be completed at the required time. Enforcing them is just more difficult when working with a large team.

Cons: long working hours and no room for promotion
