Summary of work at Chrome

A typical work day: Open shop, clean shop, merchandise products, check for instructions via email, carry out any special instructions or jobs, assist customers in selecting products as well as explaining products, on days stock is received: all stock is checking against a manifest, all stock is checked for expiry dates, all stock is packed and cleaned as required, call any customers who ordered stock and I have received it. Once per week an order for consumables is sent, ad hoc orders for specific products as per store needs or customer orders. Learnt: Up-selling to increase basket size, sales tactics. Enjoy: Assisting customers to their satisfaction to ensure they stay loyal. Challenging: Developing new strategies of increasing sales while feet in store is low and customers prioritize low spending.

Pros: Penty of oppertunity to fine-tune your sales skills
Cons: No oppertunity to grow or get promoted, company cares little for personal development.

Was great for growth but quickly out grown.

An average day at Chrome would be to open store and get ready for sales for the day. Most of your time is creating a good bond with the customer with your extensive knowledge of supplements and helping them better their body. My relationship with my coworkers are great due to the fact that I am a people’s person I enjoyed the whole supplement theory and helping other obtain a better body. Unfortunately they do not may well at all and in fact most employees complain that they take money from them due to them earning to much commission. They also set targets unrealistically high so you don’t hit target and get full commission.

Pros: Great first job
Cons: No bonuses nor Annual increases
