I operate a thermoforming machine that makes Polystyrene Trays(e.g. takeaway or fast food trays, meat trays.) -Operate Unwind stand, Thermoforming, trim press machinery to ensure good quality finished goods. -Communicates with packers to ensure quality product is packed. -Scan the used polystyrene reel on the computer and print labels for packed trays before they go in the warehouse. -Stack the packed trays in a Pallet to be taken in the warehouse. -I follow safety rules and regulations of the company. -I ensure food safety standards are maintained in the area of work. -I ensure product quality of trays is of a high standard and make adjustments to the machines when it is not. -Conduct visual quality checks of in-process trays. Accept or reject trays based on standards. -Complete relevant documentation related to the manufacturing process. -Perform start-up and shutdown checks and routines. -Perform cleaning procedures according to food safety standards.

Good Opertunities and great experiance

Every day is a different day and you are tested in many areas of your expertise you interact with contractors of different companies, Fire department. Relationship with co workers are great basically family and many cultures have taught me a great deal and how to interact with different cultures. I have learned that human behaviour can be changed positively when is comes to OHS related matters, I have learned that Procedures and Standard Operating Procedures are written in a generic way and this have changed my approach when assessing a department and its processes. I enjoy the development of OHS within the company. The most challenging aspect of the job must be the amount of paperwork that are being handled and this is due to the development of procedures and not stream lining systems.

Cons: Internal changes makes it difficult to control OHS related problems such as Mandatory training

Excellent learning curve

Very old staff, working here for over 15 years which are very set in their ways. Little or no opportunity for improvement as there is alot of resistance from staff. The company cares about its people and focuses alot of the well being of their people.

Pros: Great exposure to international suppliers and connections.
Cons: No room for improvement

A rejuvenated Company to launch in JHB...everything of the best for the team!

Long standing company,with passionate people, that have been working with the company for many years.Everyday is a busy day,and everybody is geared to make every customer happy. I have learnt a lot about their processes of printing,laminating,slitting of base and lidding for the food industry,as well as extruding of clingfilm,vacuum bag and other materials.The company has now relocated to Jhb,and i am sure they will continue to be successful.

Pros: Fast paced,highly competitive enviroment
Cons: The company needs to upskill their staff to keep up with the ever-changing world and advance their processes.

Excellent learning curve

Cibapac is a very good company to work at. Very nice friendly people and I have great relationships with all. I have leant my selling and negotiation skills. Great customer service

Long hours.high pressure environment.hands on work place.lots of paperwork.high expectations when comes to health and safety.high quality standards expected
