Grounding in Higher Education and Governance
At management level, planning and driving toward the company strategy means you always have to stay at least 3-5 months ahead of your teams. Old-style school master type management is obsolete, a true leader works with and alongside team members. Management can be replaced, people are the true worth of the business. I have fostered good work relationships with all my colleagues and adjusted my approach according to personalities. I have learnt that often good work, steadfastness and integrity gets overlooked in the workplace over profit. You are your own gate keeper of quality and sustainable systems. Seeing staff and students reap the benefits of solid work systems and efficient processes that instill a sense of confidence and admiration for the brand. I enjoy progress and continuity of good business practice. Providing incentives and fostering a healthy culture amongst staff with little support from upper management. Staff retention.
Pros: Good learning curve, allowed independent decision making on most issues.
Cons: No benefits or reward for good performance.

Excellent learning curve.
I learnt a lot from my previous company ,that's where my communication skills developed I was able to make at least 80-100 calls a day , speaking to students or recruiting students to come and study at hour school . Worked for 8 hours a day from 9h00-17h00 Monday to Thursday and Fridays I worked from 8h00-16h30.I worked for 5 hours on Saturdays. It was quite stressful but this taught me how to manage my time.It was a typical call center environment every employee had their own phone and computer to attend to both telephone and online inquiries. I enjoyed working on open days when students came to school with their parent and we had a one on one conversation and I enjoyed setting up appointments for parents and students to come to school. My relationship with co-workers was amazing we used to help each other at times but our meetings were quite hectic. The challenging aspects of the job was setting a minimum of 30 appointments for the next day.
Pros: Great opportunity for promotion
Cons: Long working hours

Job can become mundane at times, but for the most part still enjoyable
The most enjoyable aspect of working at CV is the people factor. We get along well as colleagues. and have good relationships. This is what makes working at CV ok as it can become very stressful with lost of pressures due to deadlines and expectations. However, this helps one to grow as an individual
Pros: Managers at branch level very supportive
Cons: long hours and week end work
